WHAT DO YOU GET WHEN YOU HAVE SAVIN LONDON DESIGNER DRESSES AND THE BACKDROP AT THE MOWBRAY?

What a time to be alive! Photographing these concepts was beyond special and really got me thinking about how important your wedding venue is to the style of photographs you want (a blog post coming all about this!).
The Mowbray in Sheffield is one of THE most beautiful venues I have ever photographed in. It is historic and industrial but has been restored with a classic modern face. It encapsulates what we all love about Sheffield in one sweep. As far as wedding venues in Sheffield go, I know this is at the top of every photographers list. I feel so blessed to have photographed so many wonderful wedding days here.
When it came to photographing the Savin London gowns we used a mixture of textures that The Mowbray provides with the dark panelling, velvet curtains and the glass interior. These dresses are elegant and stylish and in one word: SHOWSTOPPERS!
Cat, the owner of Betty’s Flower Club, created these concepts. We spent weeks messaging back and forth with ideas for this shoot. We wanted to give you all some unique inspiration a little different to what you might ordinarly see on wedding inspiration shoots.
Cat created the most stunning colourful bouquet to really bring an edge to this shoot. She wanted to showcase something different to a ‘typical’ bridal bouquet and my oh my did she deliver!
You might be thinking that this bouquet is a little daring but thankfully we are turning over a new leaf in the world of weddings where it is now accepting (even though this should have always been the case) for brides to show off their personalities. The Flowers
And that’s a wrap on this…for now! We shot so much content this day that I will be sharing the details of the venue along with the stationery and cake…and a few surprises we came up with on styling including a rock n roll style shoot with a mini dress (you heard me right, yes!).
