Classic wedding with Sheffield undertones
If you are from Sheffield you will have probably heard of The Mowbray at Kelham Island. If you aren’t from Sheffield, or this is the first time you’ve heard of this venue you are in for a real treat.
The Mowbray has been lovingly restored and offers such a beautiful aesthetic and backdrop for your wedding day.
When I turned up at at The Mowbray for Niki and George’s wedding in October 2021 I was blown away! I couldn’t get over the space and how they had styled it just so beautifully for Niki and George.
We went up to the rooftop bar for a few photos and champagne while the guests settled in downstairs and then headed outside for a few photographs in the evening light.
Kelham Island has the most fab backdrops for your couple portraits on your wedding day. It really is a dream for any photographer.
The Day
Niki and George’s wedding day was a classic affair. Both getting ready in their home town of Dronfield and getting married in their local church, then on to Kelham for a day and night filled with so much laughter! And I mean laughter!
Niki wore a sleeveless lace panelled wedding dress and George had on his tux, all the flowers were white, all the tables were lined with candles, and their live music and DJ had the floors bouncing by 7pm.
